the united nations first recognized for an effective international legl instrument againts corruption in its resolution 55/61 of December the 4th 2000 general assembly. perhaps due to the nature of corruption crimes, that they are becoming increasingly systemized of accepted by the population as a normal way of life, the general assembly saw fir to establish that this organization be independent from the United Nations Convetion Againts Transnational Organized Crime.
